This French butcher table, or pastry table would add the ideal amount of surface space to any kitchen. Crafted in France, the table stands on four scrolled legs over an intricate stretcher and decorative bronze rosettes and finials. The table features a scalloped apron embellished with shell and foliage motifs on all four sides. The surface is dressed with a rectangular white marble top embellished with a groove around the perimeter. (This feature is not only a decorative element, but was once used to catch blood as the butcher carved meat on this type of table). The “Table de Boucher” is in excellent condition and adorns a rich antique patinated white painted finish with gilt mounts and finials.
