Crafted in France circa 2000, the large classic barstools are the perfect height for a 36 to 38″ bar surface. Built of solid oak wood, each sturdy stool stands on carved tapered and fluted legs, decorated with a floral rosette medallion at the shoulder, and ending with bottom stretcher and straight footrest on the front. Both wide seat and tall oval back, are upholstered with the original thick brown cotton fabric; they are further embellished by decorative brass nailheads. The comfortable Louis XVI style tall chairs are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich white washed patinated finish. A beautiful addition in any traditional home.
